We introduce and discuss problems connected with prescribing the differential operator spectra of locally uniform geometries, primarily Euclidean hyperbolic and regular graphs. Various applications are given. Most of the tools from number theory, analysis, geometry, combinatorics and group theory are introduced as needed.
